The Avro Vulcan was designed as a tailless, delta-wing aircraft to be used by the RAF between 1956 and 1984. The aircraft was built as a high altitude, strategic bomber which was typically armed with nuclear weapons. 136 aircrafts were built during 1956 and 1965.
