The Airbus A380 was designed by Airbus as a wide body airliner for long haul flights. The aircraft began production in 2003 and first flew in April 2005. The double decked aircraft can cater between 525 and 853 passengers. A380 is the worlds largest passenger airliner and has completed more than 800,000 flights with no fatalities.
